High uniform socks, true is that it was designed for SD/DD. But we see it fit well for the  Smardoll. You can pull it up to cover the knee, but designed to wear below the knee, calf level or even below. Cute white ball that possible to cut off if not required.

Regarding stains we kept them in the water few days and didn't see color leaks. Also wearing overnight didn't show any harm. Keep it for a weeks not recommended, but they look safe.
